James Gregory - Funniest Man in America

James Gregory
"The Funniest Man in America!"
August 24, 2012 7:30 p.m.

For over two decades, the unforgettable caricature of veteran comedian James Gregory has stood grinning: his shirt un-tucked, his arms outstretched, a carefree welcome to a down-home, hilarious comedy experience. It's storytelling at its best. The trademark caricature is the essence of James Gregory's comedy: rib-tickling reflections on life from the front porch.

Milton Bullock - The Golden Platter

Milton Bullock

"The Golden Platter"

June 16, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.

presented by the Lion's Club

The Platters were formed in the 50’s and though widely known for their early hits, the group continued its successful recording career years after.  Milton Bullock was fortunate to be a big part of that era.  Milton was asked to join the Platters in 1964 by Herb Reed. With Milton’s talent, he helped the Platters continue to stay on the charts and in the hearts of America. The Platters disbanded in 1969, and several members went on to have solo careers - but ONLY Milton Bullock can be called "The Golden Platter".

When the Platters decided to disband, Milton continued his work in the music and film industry. You may have seen him in roles in such films as "Home Alone 2" and "Prelude to a Kiss", among others. Presently, he is performing solo as "The Golden Platter", wowing audiences young and old with his sensational voice. In addition, he produces his internationally famous musical showcase "Back Down Memory Lane".

Gene Watson and The Farewell Party Band

Gene has scored over 72 charted songs, including 23 Top Tens and 6 #1 hits over his forty-year career. It is safe to say that most knowledgeable country fans would point to Gene Watson as one of country music's best ballad singers in the same league as country icons George Jones, Merle Haggard, Vern Gosdin and others who are the standard bearers for honest, traditional country music. It's no surprise that such artists as Vince Gill, Lee Ann Womack, Trace Adkins, Connie Smith, Joe Nichols, Alison Krauss, and many others are not only happy but eager to record with Gene.
